Windsor Event Hire, Party Hire

Windsor is round about 50 miles from the Havant workshop, usually the A3 and M25 or the M3 when the day sends us that way. The work we get up there most is the boarding school side of the diary: the schools in and around Windsor run Sunday funday activity days for their boarders, and that suits our kit well.

What we run in Windsor

Combat tag archery and zorbing come with our operators running everything, so school staff stay on the pastoral side, with the Interactive Play System alongside for short-turn throughput. The Army side of the town books us too: the Coldstream Guards at Victoria Barracks have had our kit at their families days for years, with the assault course and the sweeper the parts the families remember, and their welfare team's review of one of those days is on file with the quotes. The rest of the Windsor work is the usual spread: weddings and big family parties take marquees, photo booths and garden games, with an inflatable for the younger end of the guest list where there is one. A school or venue in Windsor gets the paperwork pack the bursar or venue manager asks for: £10 million public liability insurance, PIPA tags on the inflatables, PAT-tested electrics, and risk assessments and method statements available before anyone signs anything. Whenever we're running the kit, the staff we send are enhanced-DBS registered, first-aid trained and RPII-examined.

Site details and the paperwork

The grounds round here are school sites, wedding lawns and country-house gardens. The figures we work to are the same: the kit is set up within 50 metres of the van, the access route is at least 36 inches wide, and every inflatable runs off a 13A socket within 20 metres. Parking for the van is the hirer's job, and we bring the generator when the nearest socket is too far to reach. The paperwork side is straightforward for the bursar or venue manager: £10 million public liability with licensed-premises cover, PIPA tags traceable on the national database, PAT-tested electrics, and the risk assessment and method statement ready to send. The staff are our own, RPII-examined, first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS registered, and outdoor inflatables travel with an anemometer and the 24mph wind rule.
