PIPA testing and inflatable inspections
We carry out annual and initial PIPA testing, inflatable inspections and repairs for other inflatable operators, as well as RPII operator and attendant courses. Dave is our on-site PIPA inspector, and testing can be booked at our commercial unit in Havant or arranged at a client's premises.
This is regular workshop and travelling work rather than a certificate we only use on our own fleet. Recent jobs have included a mixture of annual and initial PIPA testing, testing for two regular clients in July 2026, and six days in South Wales completing a hire firm's PIPA safety inspections before its season.
Annual and initial PIPA testing
Little Monsters, our former trading name, is listed by PIPA as an inspection body. Dave Morris is listed by RPII as an annual inflatable inspector, and Little Monsters is listed as an RPII operator exam centre. PIPA testing covers inflatable play equipment within the scheme, including bouncy castles, inflatable slides, obstacle courses and fun runs. An initial inspection assesses the design and manufacture before equipment is tagged and registered; annual testing checks equipment that is due for reinspection.
The main standard used for inflatable play equipment is BS EN 14960-1:2019. Bungee runs that meet the relevant requirements fall within the PIPA scheme under BS EN 14960-4:2025, while BS EN 14960-2:2019 covers bouncing pillows intended for permanent installation. If the item is a football shootout, inflatable axe-throwing game, basketball game, archery range or another non-ride-on inflatable, send us its details first. The design and intended use determine which standard and scheme rules apply, so we will confirm the inspection scope before booking it in.
Inflatable repairs and practical advice
We carry out inflatable repairs as well as testing.

RPII operator and attendant courses
Our RPII courses cover the practical work an inflatable operator or attendant is expected to understand: manual handling, indoor and outdoor setup, wind-speed measurement, anchorage, impact areas, routine inspections, supervision and the duties that sit with the operator or attendant. Where we carry out inspections
Our usual inspection area covers Hampshire and Surrey from the Havant workshop. We also travel for inspection work when the equipment list and journey make sense; the six-day South Wales job is one recent example, rather than a claim that every single-unit test can be booked anywhere in the country.
Book testing, repairs or a course
For PIPA testing or an inflatable inspection, tell us whether it is annual or initial testing, how many units there are, what each item is, where the testing needs to happen and whether there are known repair issues. For an RPII course, tell us how many people need places and where you are based. That is enough for us to check the diary and work out the sensible arrangement.
