Scout and Guide Event Hire
Scout and Guide event hire covers weekend camps, district activity days, anniversaries and fundraisers where different sections may be moving around the site in groups. The first things we need are the ages, participant numbers, session times and campsite access, not just a list of the biggest equipment.
Activities for camps and group events
Pedal go-karts, Army assault courses, archery, Combat Tag Archery, laser tag and the climbing wall all give groups a clear activity to rotate through. At a Gosport Scouts weekend camp in July 2026, the go-karts ran alongside the Green Giant assault course.
Some activities are always staffed and others can be supervised by the group's leaders. Tell us whether Cubs, Scouts, Brownies, Guides or adult volunteers are taking part so we can check the shortlist properly rather than treating them as one age group.
Numbers and rotations
We have worked at a large event for 3,000 Scouts and Brownies, as well as ordinary weekend camps and single-group bookings. At district scale, the timetable and throughput decide the product mix. Tell us the number in each section, group size, length of each rotation and whether leaders are supervising between activities. A long open queue works differently from patrols moving through fixed sessions.
Hilary wrote after a Cub weekend that the inflatable "was a huge hit over the weekend for our Cubs (and some of the adults!)" and thanked the delivery driver for helping at a site that was not easy to find. Access notes like that are useful before the crew sets off, particularly for camps reached by tracks or narrow gates.
Weather, staffing and paperwork
For a multi-day camp, the quote and handover will set out when the equipment can be used, who supervises it and what happens outside the booked operating period. We will also check the available space, ground, vehicle access and power before confirming the equipment.
We have run Monster Event Hire from our commercial unit in Havant since 2002. The fleet and staff are our own. Every employee is enhanced-DBS registered, first-aid trained and RPII-examined. Inflatables are PIPA-tagged and inspected annually, electrical kit is PAT-tested, and we carry £10 million public liability insurance. Risk assessments, method statements and inspection details are available for the group or district paperwork.
We cover Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and London. Send the camp or venue, date, section ages, numbers, timetable, surface, access and power details when you ask for a quote.
Just wanted to say that the inflatable was a huge hit over the weekend for our Cubs, and some of the adults. Please thank the guy who delivered and collected, as it is not the easiest place to find and he was very helpful in setting it up.
