Romsey Event Hire, Party Hire

Romsey is about 28 miles west of the workshop, M27 most of the way. We're across SO51 every season for village hall and primary school fairs, weddings at the country-house venues along the Test Valley, and corporate days at the business parks south of the town. Embley School has had us back for end-of-term reward days, most recently in July 2026.

The kit and the staff turning up to a Romsey job are our own. Nothing is sub-hired in at the last minute, and there's no agency middleman in the chain, so what we quoted is what arrives.

Site details and the paperwork

Romsey sites are mostly school fields, village greens and country-house lawns, and a few details help us plan. The ground rules are the same as anywhere we work: the kit goes up within 50 metres of where the van stops, the way in is at least 36 inches wide, and each inflatable runs from its own 13A socket within 20 metres. The hirer sorts the van's parking, and if the nearest socket is a long way from the kit, the generator comes with us. For a wedding or a reception, tell us the access situation when you book and we'll check the fit before the date.

The compliance pack is ready for a venue, school office or wedding planner that asks. The insurance is £10 million public liability with the licensed-premises cover, the inflatables are PIPA tagged with numbers you can check on the national register, the electrics are PAT tested, and the risk assessment and method statement are sent with the booking. Our own crew run the events, holding the RPII operator and supervisor exams, first-aid and enhanced DBS checks, and outdoor inflatables carry an anemometer with the written 24mph rule.
