Cash Grabber Hire

The Cash Grabber, also known as the Cash Cube or Grab a Grand, is the tall round clear booth where one person steps inside, the fan kicks in, and they grab as much flying paper as they can before the timer runs out. It's the same game as the dome from The Crystal Maze: thirty seconds on the clock, notes or tokens whirling round your head, and a red countdown ticking down on top while everyone outside watches through the see-through walls.

You decide what goes in it. A lot of people fill it with printed vouchers or raffle tickets and run it as a prize game, businesses run it with branded notes as a draw on a promotional stand, and at a party it works fine with play money. The LED lighting changes colour while it runs, blue, green or purple, so it stands out across a hall as much as it pulls a crowd up close.

Works well at

Corporate fun days and product launches, charity fundraisers, school fetes and fun days, birthday parties and community events. It draws a crowd whether people are queuing for a go or waiting to watch someone flap about after the notes, which is most of the fun.

We've run Monster Event Hire from our unit in Havant since 2002, and the kit is all ours, so the person who sets up and runs it is one of our own staff rather than a sub-contractor. They're first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS registered, which matters at a school or a children's party, and the electrics are PAT-tested every year. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate available on request, and we hold additional licensed-premises cover, so there's no issue running it at a pub, club or bar.
