Oxford Event Hire, Party Hire

Oxford is about 75 miles north-west of the workshop, A34 most of the way. We're into OX1 to OX4 through the season for university summer events, college balls, school and family fairs, and the community and corporate events the city has on through the year, with the business side of it pulled together on the corporate event hire Oxford page. University and college events

The strongest job on record is a graduate event for the Science and Technology Facilities Council at Cosener's House in Abingdon, where the organiser recommended us by name in the internal report written for senior managers and the next year's graduates. University and college bookings make up a fair share of our work, and the laser tag arena, the rodeo bull and the electronic games are the usual picks for them, moving groups through on a schedule, so we've also given the city a student event hire in Oxford page of its own. Site details, power and paperwork

Oxford venues run from college lawns and quads to school fields and sports grounds, and a couple of details help us plan. The practical limits are the same as everywhere: the van parks within 50 metres of where the kit goes up, the way in is at least 36 inches wide, and every inflatable runs from a 13A socket within 20 metres. College and university sites can have arches and narrow gateways, so tell us the access situation when you book and we'll check the fit before the date. The hirer sorts the van's parking, and if the nearest power is a long way from the pitch we bring a generator.

The paperwork side is settled for the venue and college offices that ask. Insurance is £10 million public liability plus licensed-premises cover, the inflatables are PIPA tagged and traceable on the national database, the electrics are PAT tested each year, and the risk assessment and method statement go out with the booking. Staff are Monster employees, trained to RPII operator and supervisor standard, first-aid certified and enhanced-DBS checked, and outdoor inflatables go out with an anemometer and the written 24mph wind rule.
