Havant Event Hire, Party Hire

We're based in Havant. The workshop is at South Leigh Farm, just off South Leigh Road in PO9, and that's where the kit lives between jobs. We've been at this since 2002, originally trading as Little Monsters Event Hire and still based at the same site. If your event is somewhere in PO9, PO10 or PO11, or out along the road to Hayling, we're probably going past your end of town most weeks during the season anyway.

What we run in the home town

Local jobs over the years have included Havant Family Church, a steady stream of village hall fêtes, primary school summer fairs, scout group fundraisers, weddings, and corporate days at the business sites around Solent and over towards Whiteley, which is the side of the work laid out on the corporate event hire in Havant page. A school reward day in the town ran the Big Red Assault Course and inflatable axe throwing in July 2026, a Year 6 leavers celebration finished the summer term, and the climbing wall went to the Festival Family Fun Day in August. The same site is where we run our annual PIPA inspections for other hire firms in the area, so the standards we hold our own kit to are the standards we audit other operators against.

Site details and the paperwork

Because the kit is loaded a few minutes from most Havant sites, a couple of details are all we need. The van stops within 50 metres of where the kit goes up, the route in is at least 36 inches wide, and each inflatable draws from its own 13A socket within 20 metres. Parking for the van is the hirer's responsibility, and if the nearest power point is a long way from the kit, we bring the generator along. For a Hayling or a village-hall site, tell us the access when you book and we'll plan the run around it.

The paperwork is ready for any venue, school office or procurement team that asks. The insurance is £10 million public liability with the licensed-premises cover, the inflatables are PIPA tagged with numbers you can check on the national database, the electrics are PAT tested, and the risk assessment and method statement go with the booking. Our staff are Monster's own, trained to RPII operator and supervisor standard, first-aid certified and enhanced-DBS checked, and outdoor inflatables carry an anemometer with the written 24mph rule. The kit is serviced and tested in the workshop next door between jobs, which is the point of running the business from here.
