Snowboard Simulator

The snowboard simulator - sometimes called a rodeo snowboard or inflatable snowboard hire - is a motorised snowboard mounted in the centre of a large inflatable air bed, with an alpine mountain graphic as the backdrop. The rider stands on the board; one of our operators works the tilt and roll from a hand controller, starting gently and increasing the difficulty until the rider ends up on the inflatable landing bed around them.

It runs on the same principle as our surf simulator, with standing rather than sitting, and it tends to draw a crowd of watchers as well as a queue of riders. The operator tends to run it as a timed challenge to find out who lasts longest, which usually gets competitive at a corporate evening.

We hire the snowboard simulator across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and into London. It's most in demand around Christmas, when it fits naturally into office parties, corporate Christmas dos and winter-themed events. It pairs well with the rodeo reindeer or rodeo Christmas pudding if you want more than one ride on the same night. It works the rest of the year too - private parties, corporate fun days, family fun days and school events are all straightforward bookings.

How we hire it out

We own all of our kit, so the person setting up on the day is one of our staff, not a sub-contractor we've passed the job to. Everyone on the road has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, is first-aid trained, and is enhanced-DBS registered, which matters if you're booking for schools, children's events or anything involving vulnerable adults. The equipment is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector.

We've run Monster Event Hire from our unit in Havant since 2002, covering Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and into London. The policy carries £10 million public liability with additional licensed-premises cover for pubs, clubs and bars, and the certificate is on request.

Have a look at our other simulators if you want to compare, or see our Christmas party entertainment if you're putting together a full winter event line-up.

Hi Joanne,

Just wanted to say that the inflatable was a huge hit over the weekend for our Cubs ( and some of the adults !).

Please thank the guy who delivered and collected (sorry didn't get his name) as it is not the easiest place to find and he was very helpful in stetting it up etc.

Hopefully we will be able to book again with you in the future.

Regards

Hilary
