This category covers the larger inflatable slide range: Army Slide, Circus Slide, Fairground Slide, Jungle Event Slide, Jungle Slide and Pirate Slide. They are useful when you want one high-visibility attraction that draws people in and keeps the queue moving.
Slides need more planning than a small castle because height, run-off, anchorage, access and wind exposure all matter. For example, the Circus Slide product page lists an 18ft height and 21ft length, so we need enough space around the unit as well as the footprint itself. Send the venue, surface, access route, timings and expected age range. We will check which slide fits the site and provide paperwork for schools, councils, venues and corporate organisers where required. Choosing between them is mostly height and theme: the Army Slide and the Jungle Event Slide are the tall camouflage pieces for the showpiece fields, the Pirate Ship and Circus Slide carry the themed artwork that reads well from across a park, the Fairground Slide is the classic fairground profile, and the Jungle Slide is the mid-size unit for the smaller sites. If the day wants a full run-through rather than a climb-and-slide, the assault and obstacle course range is the other half of the fleet. Every slide is ours, stored at Havant and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector under PIPA, the scheme the HSE recognises. Outdoor hires go out with an anemometer and the written wind procedure, with readings every thirty minutes and a mandatory shutdown at 24mph, and our crews are RPII-examined, first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS registered. The £10 million public liability certificate and the risk assessments go out with the quote for school, council and corporate bookings that need them.

Mega Slide Hire - common questions
How much height clearance does an inflatable slide need?
The larger slides stand around 18ft to 20ft at the top, so indoor venues need a hall or marquee with clear height above that, and we always want the measured internal height confirmed at quote stage rather than guessed. Outdoors, overhead cables and tree cover matter as much as the ground.
Can two slides go to the same event?
Yes, and the bigger fun days often run a slide alongside an assault course or two so the queue splits itself. Each unit needs its own anchor points and its own socket or generator capacity, so send us the site plan and we will lay it out sensibly rather than cramming it in.
What surface do the slides go on?
Grass is the usual base, with the anchor points staked in and nothing sharp underneath. Some of the smaller units run on hard standing with ballast instead of stakes. Slopes, drains and sprinkler heads are the things that catch people out, so mention them when you enquire.
