Rodeo Bull Hire Romsey

Romsey rodeo bookings tend to be Test Valley weddings, village hall and school fairs, and corporate days at the business parks south of the town across SO51. The rodeo bull, sometimes called a bucking bronco, is a staffed ride, so the operator controls the speed for each rider and runs the queue, which works far better at an organised event than anything left unattended. The range includes the bull, pig, sheep, rugby ball, pumpkin, reindeer and Christmas pudding, with the seasonal options out from November. Romsey is about 28 miles west of the workshop, M27 most of the way, and nothing is sub-hired in, so the operator and kit we quote are what arrive. For licensed venues, the insurance certificate and risk assessment go over on request.

One machine, seven attachments, and the Romsey crowd decides: the bull for the classic booking, the sheep and the pig for family parties, the rugby ball for the sports clubs, and the pumpkin, reindeer and Christmas pudding for the seasonal dos. Every Romsey rodeo booking includes the inflatable surround, the LED timer and one of our operators on the control box throughout. The Romsey kit leaves Havant, where we have been based since 2002, with its annual PIPA inspection by our in-house RPII inspector in date and its PAT test current. The crew who bring the Romsey rodeo are our own staff, not agency workers, and every one of them is enhanced-DBS registered. The £10 million public liability certificate and risk assessment go to the venue on request. A rodeo pulls a queue, so it pairs well with the rest of a Romsey booking: a bouncy castle or inflatable assault course for the daytime, and a photo booth once the evening do starts. The full Romsey event hire range is on one page. Come December the attachment of choice in Romsey is the reindeer or the Christmas pudding, and everything else on the Christmas do has its own page.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for providing the bouncy castle and rodeo sheep. It all went perfectly. Thanks also to the operator, Jamie, a very nice guy and easy going. A big thank you for helping make our wedding day so special.

Rodeo bull hire in Romsey - common questions

Does the rodeo come with an operator in Romsey?

Yes. Every Romsey rodeo booking is staffed by one of our own trained operators, who controls the speed, runs the queue and keeps the whole thing safe. It is never drop-and-go kit.

How much space and power does a rodeo need at a Romsey venue?

Set aside 20ft by 20ft of level Romsey space for the ride and its surround, indoors or on grass, plus a 13amp socket. Tell us the Romsey venue and surface and we will confirm it fits.

Which rodeo rides can we have at a Romsey event?

The Romsey booking can take any of the attachments: bull, pig, sheep, rugby ball, pumpkin, reindeer or Christmas pudding, all on the same multi-ride base. The classic is the bull, and the seasonal attachments take care of Romsey Halloween and Christmas parties.

What are the age and height limits for the rodeo in Romsey?

Riders at Romsey bookings need to be 1.2 metres or taller and able to climb on and off unaided, which in practice means around ten and up. The operator dials the speed down for younger or nervous riders on Romsey bookings, so it is not one-speed-fits-all.
