Andover College event hire
Andover College is the further education college on Charlton Road in Andover, part of the Sparsholt College Group alongside Sparsholt College near Winchester. It runs A levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships, and its event calendar is a steady run of applicant and taster days through the summer, the freshers fair in September and the Christmas ball season. We've been taking kit in for all three for the last couple of years.

Applicant and taster days
The summer applicant and taster days are the steady work. The Magic Selfie Mirror went in across three days of applicants' and taster events in July 2026, printing on the night and staffed throughout so the college office wasn't left running it. An applicant day a few days later took a photo booth and the 3 in 1 sports inflatable game.
The freshers fair
The September freshers fair is the busiest day. In 2026 the green screen photo booth and the Under Pressure speed reaction game ran indoors, and the bungee run went out on the grass beside the college building. The year before it was the giant buzz wire, the green screen booth and the dance machine.
The Christmas ball season
The December events are the other steady fixture. The All That Glitters Christmas event in 2025 took Rodney the rodeo reindeer, the Christmas photo booth and the dance machine.
Working at Andover College
The campus events are straightforward sites to work. The photo booths and the magic mirror are staffed throughout as standard, and the rodeo reindeer comes with one of our operators for the whole hire. Any other item can have an operator supplied if the college wants it run for them. Our staff hold the RPII operator and supervisor exams, first-aid and enhanced DBS checks, the inflatables are PIPA tagged and inspected each year by our in-house RPII inspector, and the electrical kit is PAT tested. We carry £10 million public liability insurance with licensed-premises cover, and the risk assessment and method statement are sent with the booking. The drive is around 47 miles from our unit in Havant, A3 then M3 then A303, and a booking there leaves with the same gear and paperwork as one closer to home.
