Corporate Event Hire Weybridge
Corporate event hire in Weybridge sits on the A3 run we already make between Woking and Richmond-upon-Thames, about fifty miles north of the workshop in Havant. What keeps the van coming up here is the private schools around the town, which have us in for their own events year after year, and the offices along the corridor book the same kit for their sports days, away days and Christmas parties. A few miles up the road at Chobham we ran the office staff event for KFC, and that shape of day, with the whole company drifting between activities, is the usual ask on this patch.
Three shapes of company day
A sports day needs one anchor race, enough short games that nobody stands about, and a scoreboard for the competitive types, and we can time the heats and keep the scores as well as supply the kit. An induction or team-building day runs the other way, with small teams rotating between stations on a timetable, which is how the biggest corporate evening on our books worked, more than 500 delegates at a London induction with nine activities running at once. A Christmas party or awards night in a hotel function room wants quieter, plug-in entertainment people can wander between, which is a different shopping list again. Tell us which of the three you're planning and we'll build the list to match.
The outdoor side
On a big enough lawn the assault courses carry the day. The 150ft Army Assault Course is the anchor and takes six 13amp sockets, the Boot Camp Challenge runs two lanes down its 100ft length where the ground and drive-on access allow, and Big Red does the same job on a shorter pitch. Round the edges sit the Sweeper, Dash N Grab, the High Striker and the Multi Sports Arena, and the climbing wall takes the braver end of the staff list, standing ten metres with the van parked right beside it. The rodeo bull wants a flat 20ft by 20ft with headroom above, and it always goes out with one of our own people on the controls.
Indoors, whatever the weather
Weybridge has no shortage of function rooms, and the indoor list fills them. Interactive darts and the Batak Pro are the two that get the queue forming, both with scoreboards that keep people coming back for another go. The racing simulators, arcade machines, air hockey, shuffleboard and table tennis all run from ordinary 13amp sockets, the dance machine is an indoors item, and a photo booth gives the evening its keepsake corner with an attendant running it.
The people and the paperwork
Where the kit needs someone on the controls, that person works for us, they're enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained, and they stay for the whole hire, so the crew that sets up is the crew that runs it and packs away. Every inflatable carries its PIPA tag with the annual inspection done by our own RPII inspector, the electrics are PAT tested each year, and the fleet is ours outright, so the people who turn up are the people you booked. Joanne and David Morris have run the business from the commercial unit in Havant since 2002, and the insurance certificate, risk assessments and method statements go out with the quote whenever procurement asks.
The fifty miles up the A3 and over the M25 is built into the quote like any other distance, and it's a run we make already for the schools and community dates in between, so a Weybridge set-up slots into the week without any fuss. Lawns, school grounds and hotel grounds are the usual surfaces, and if the nearest socket is too far for a lead, the generator comes along on the van. Flag the access route when you enquire and we'll plan the load around it.
The Weybridge event hire hub covers the whole local range, and the nearest corporate pages either side are Guildford and Woking. The team building and corporate page carries the full range with the formats spelled out.
Send the date, the venue and its postcode, the delegate numbers, which of the three formats you're after, the team sizes and timings, the measurements and surface of the space, and the access and power situation. An agency booking on your behalf can send the same details, and any procurement deadline goes in the enquiry so the paperwork lands in time.
The two lads you sent down to set-up and break down were excellent and both had brilliant attitudes, a really good advert for your company!
