Corporate Event Hire Guildford

Corporate event hire in Guildford draws on the business parks along the A3 corridor and the county town's own hotels and function rooms, and the diary runs from a summer sports day on a lawn to a conference social in the centre. Guildford sits roughly 43 miles north of the yard in Havant, with the A3 doing most of the work. We're across GU1 to GU5 most weekends through the season, and by December the university and college balls, the staff parties along the corridor and the hotel dos up in the Surrey Hills have the diary full.

What a Guildford booking looks like

The structured corporate day here is usually a team building or away-day format, teams rotating between activities on a timetable, sometimes with a scoreboard running all afternoon. The informal one is a summer BBQ or family fun day on company grass, or a Christmas party in a hotel room. For a conference or awards night, the evening wants quieter, plug-in entertainment that delegates can drift between, and that's a different shopping list from the outdoor sports day.

Outdoor kit and indoor rooms

Outdoor kit first. The 150ft Army Assault Course is our biggest race and needs six 13amp sockets plus the pitch to match; the Boot Camp Challenge runs two lanes over 100ft and wants four sockets, drive-on access and 110ft of clear flat space; Big Red covers 80ft on three sockets. Short rounds stop the queueing, and the Sweeper, Dash N Grab, the High Striker and the Multi Sports Arena between them keep a couple of hundred delegates busy. The climbing wall stands ten metres and needs vehicle access to the base, so it belongs on the site plan early.

In town, loading access can be tight, so tell us the venue and we'll match the kit to the door. Inside, interactive darts, shuffleboard, table tennis, air hockey, arcade machines, the dance machine and racing simulators all run on 13amp sockets, and the photo booth comes with an attendant. RGS Guildford's upper-sixth leavers ran the last man standing sweeper and dash n grab, which is the same short-round pairing we'd put in front of a corporate crowd, and the shooting games range covers laser tag, laser clays, archery and the crossbow stall for the target-minded.

The biggest corporate evening we've run was an induction event for more than 500 delegates at a London venue, nine activities from interactive darts and crazy golf through to the dance machine, air hockey and giant games, with delegates milling between stations. A Guildford conference social runs on exactly that logic, with the room and the headcount setting the length of the list.

Paperwork and the run up the A3

The staffed items, the Sweeper, the climbing wall, archery, laser clays, human table football, the Multi Sports Arena, pedal go-karts and Dash N Grab, come with our own people running them for the whole hire. Those people are enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained, which HR teams tend to ask about, and the risk assessments and method statements are written up and ready for the procurement pack. Every inflatable is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually, the work comes from our own yard, and it has done since 2002.

Forty-three miles up the A3 is a run we make most weekends in season, and the same lorries and crew that cover Hampshire handle Surrey, so a Guildford booking isn't a special expedition. If the site slopes, or the access is narrow, we'll flag it at the quote stage and suggest kit that suits the space.

The Guildford event hire hub covers everything local, with assault course hire in Guildford, rodeo bull hire in Guildford, photo booth hire in Guildford and garden games in Guildford each on a page of their own. Corporate formats across the south are on the team building and corporate page.

For a quote, send the date, the venue and postcode, delegate numbers, the format, team sizes, timings and the shape of the space, indoors or outdoors, measurements, surface, access and power, plus a rough idea of the products you want. Marketing teams, HR and office managers get the same reply, and if an agency is booking for you, they can send the same details. Any procurement deadline goes in the email too.

The two lads you sent down to set-up and break down were excellent and both had brilliant attitudes, a really good advert for your company!
