Corporate Event Hire Ringwood
Corporate event hire in Ringwood tends to run to the country venues and hotel grounds around BH24, on the western edge of the New Forest. The workshop is in Havant, about 35 miles back east along the A31, and we've been loading the vans from there since 2002. Most of the company work we'd price for this side of the Forest is away days, team building and summer BBQs on grass, so this page covers the kit that suits it and what each piece needs.
Choosing the shape of the day
A company sports day with organised heats is the format we quote most for outdoor company days, and it works best with one big race anchoring the timetable and short games filling the gaps. The anchor choices are the assault courses, and their site needs differ: the 150ft Army course is the biggest and draws six 13amp sockets, the two-lane Boot Camp Challenge takes four sockets plus drive-on access and 110ft of clear flat ground, and the 80ft Big Red course runs on three and also wants the van close to the pitch. Where the venue has a function room as well as grounds, the indoor side fills easily with plug-in kit, and the two halves of the day can run at once.
On the indoor side, interactive darts, arcade machines, air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis, the dance machine and a racing simulator all run off standard 13amp sockets, and several of them come with one of our crew to run them. The rodeo bull works indoors as well, on a flat 20ft by 20ft pitch with about 10ft of clear height above it. A photo booth in the corner finishes the room off for a staff party or an awards night.
Keeping the queues moving
The short-round games are what stops a company day bogging down. The Sweeper takes eight players at a time as a knockout, Dash N Grab runs eight for quick rounds, the High Striker settles the strength arguments, and the Multi Sports Arena switches between volleyball, basketball and five-a-side football with our operator handling the changeovers. Human table football splits ten players into two teams on the padded bars, which makes it a natural for departmental rivalry.
Open and wooded sites are the reason we check the forecast and the ground before confirming anything outdoors in BH24. We'll say straight when an inflatable is wrong for a windy corner of a field, and the crew carries an anemometer with a written 24mph shutdown rule for every outdoor inflatable.
Paperwork, people and the run out
The trust side is ready for any hotel, venue manager or HR team that asks. Our public liability insurance runs to £10 million including licensed-premises cover, every inflatable is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector, and each crew member is enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained. The fleet is owned outright, so nothing gets sub-hired the week before a Ringwood booking.
The run out from Havant is about 35 miles along the A31, which keeps a Ringwood day in the same territory as our other New Forest work. The Ringwood event hire hub lists the rest of what we deliver to BH24, the assault course hire Ringwood and rodeo bull hire Ringwood pages cover those pieces in detail, and the parent range is on the corporate team building page. Office managers planning a December do can start from the Christmas entertainment Ringwood page, which has the indoor picks for that time of year.
For a quote, send the date, the venue and its postcode, roughly how many staff are coming, the format you have in mind and the space available, indoors or out. Surface, access width, distance to the nearest sockets and the rough product mix all help us price it first time, and if procurement needs the insurance certificate or the method statements by a set date, tell us and we'll turn that around with the quote.
I'd just like to email you to say thank you for the brilliant service you have given us from the first email to the day and a very big thanks to the man you sent with the hire equipment for doing a great job and being very pleasant. We will be sure to use you for future events.
