Christmas Entertainment Ringwood

Ringwood Christmas dos run on the New Forest hotel calendar around Ellingham, Sopley and Burley, plus staff parties and school fairs across BH24. The forest venues are often out in the open, so anything inflatable outdoors gets the usual weather judgement, and the indoor pieces like the photo booth and the dance machine are the safe December picks. Ringwood is about 35 miles west of the workshop.

The Ringwood Christmas fair wants family pieces: Santa's grotto as the centrepiece, the inflatable snow globe beside it, and the grown-ups get the rodeo reindeer once the children are through. Evening dos in Ringwood add the Christmas photo booth and games like the Christmas mega wire and Whack an Elf, with the snowboard simulator as the headline where the room has the height for it.

This work has run from our own commercial unit in Havant since 2002, with a fleet we own outright and no sub-contracting. The rodeo attachments are ADIPS certified, the electronics are PAT-tested, every member of staff is enhanced-DBS registered, and the £10 million public liability certificate, risk assessment and method statement can go out with the Ringwood quote.

A December do often books alongside something earlier in the year for the same Ringwood client, and the practical pages are worth a look if you are planning more than the party: the Ringwood event hire range covers the summer bouncy castles and assault courses, the rodeo bull that takes the same machine as the reindeer, and the photo booths that run through the winter.

The Ringwood December diary fills earlier than any other month, and the first two weekends go first. Send the venue, the date, the room measurements and the rough headcount, and we will come back the same day with a Ringwood package that fits what the room actually holds.

Christmas party entertainment in Ringwood - common questions

How far ahead should we book Christmas entertainment in Ringwood?

December is the busiest month of the Ringwood diary, and the first two weekends go first. Six to eight weeks ahead is comfortable for most items, and earlier is better for a Saturday night in mid-December with the rodeo reindeer or the grotto, because the staffed pieces are limited by people as much as kit.

Can you supply several attractions for one Ringwood Christmas party?

That is most of our December work in Ringwood: a rodeo or the snowboard simulator as the headline, the Christmas photo booth in the corner, and two or three electronic games filling the gaps. Multi-item bookings usually work out cheaper per item than hiring separately, and everything comes on one delivery.

Our Ringwood venue is a hotel or pub with a licence. Is that a problem?

No. We carry additional licensed-premises insurance on top of the £10 million public liability policy, which is what licensed Ringwood venues want to see before anyone sets up, and the certificates go out with the quote. Tell us the venue at enquiry stage and we will send the paperwork their way.

How much space and power does Christmas entertainment need at a Ringwood venue?

The rodeo reindeer and the snowboard simulator each want a clear area of roughly 20ft by 20ft and one standard 13amp socket, the photo booths fit a level corner of about 2.3m by 1.25m, and the table games and arcade machines slot in wherever there is a table and a socket. Send the Ringwood room measurements and we will confirm what fits before the date is held.
