Christmas Side Stall Games

These Christmas side stall games are a pair of hand-built wooden "test your skill" boards: Toss Rudolph A Treat, a beanbag toss with three holes cut into a cartoon Rudolph in his Santa hat, and Ring Around The Tree, a ring toss where you loop the rope rings over the pegs of a decorated tree. Both boards are painted up in full Christmas colours, candy-cane stripes, baubles and holly, and they look the part from across a hall.

They are smaller have-a-go games rather than a headline attraction, which makes them handy around the edge of a Santa's grotto setup, as a pair of stalls at a school Christmas fair, or keeping the queue amused outside the rodeo reindeer and rodeo Christmas pudding at a staff Christmas party. They are the Christmas answer to our rodeo side stall games, the western-themed boards we hire alongside the rodeo: simple games people already know how to play, dressed for the season.

The boards are hand-made by Retro Carnival Games, a Dorset workshop that builds proper wooden carnival games, and they come with their beanbags and rope rings. They are free-standing and need no power, so they set up quickly on grass or hard standing, indoors or out, and they suit Christmas parties, winter fairs, grottos, school events and corporate Christmas evenings.
