80s Retro Arcade Games Hire - Twin Flight-Case Cabinets, 600+ Games Loaded

We have a pair of these, and they go out together so you can run four players at once, two on each cabinet. They aren't the full stand-up cabinets you might remember from a seaside pier; they're flight cases that open up to put a screen in the lid and a two-player joystick-and-button panel in the base, with blue LED illumination behind the buttons. They sit happily on a black-clothed banqueting table, which is how the photos show them, set up in a hotel function room for an evening event. The library runs to more than 600 games on Pandora's Box style boards, and it covers most of what people actually want to find on this kind of machine. Street Fighter, King of Fighters '97 and '98, Final Fight, Raiden, 1944, Captain Commando, Darkstalkers, a stack of beat-em-ups and platformers, plus the odd shooter and puzzle game to round things out. We've been hiring these out long enough to know which titles get the queue.

• Birthday parties for teens and adults, especially retro-themed ones
• Indoor events where there isn't room for an inflatable

Space and setup

Each cabinet is compact enough to sit on a normal trestle table, and you only need standing room for two players in front of each one. They go in through any normal doorway, which matters more than people think when the venue is a function room above a pub. Our team brings them in, plugs them in and checks they're running before they leave. The cases aren't built to be left out in the wet, and the screens get washed out in direct sun, so we don't put these on outdoor pitches. A marquee is fine.

Hampshire, Surrey and round our way

We run from a commercial unit in Havant, PO9, and cover Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and a fair bit of London on our own vehicles. Delivery, setup and collection are part of the quote rather than an extra. We've been hiring out event kit since 2002, the equipment is all ours rather than sub-hired, and the person who turns up to plug it in is one of our own staff (RPII-trained, first-aid trained, enhanced-DBS registered) rather than an agency casual. We're VAT-registered and carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate available on request. Weekends fill up first, especially in the run-up to Christmas, so it's worth sending the date and venue across early and we'll come back with availability and a price.
