Corporate Event Hire Portsmouth

Corporate event hire in Portsmouth is our closest corporate work, roughly eight miles from the Havant workshop along the A27 and A2030, so PO1 to PO6 is a run we're making most weeks anyway and the crews know the venues. In June 2026 we ran Lead Forensics' company sports day at Lakeside North Harbour, with the Last Man Standing sweeper out to finish off their sports games.

Sports days by the harbour

The Lakeside North Harbour office park is the sort of site where a company sports day works well, with lawns and corners of car park big enough for a spread of kit. Lead Forensics had us there in June 2026, the sweeper closing out their games once the racing was done, and they came back to us in July for a company families day with the same crew and the same paperwork. That format travels well: heats through the afternoon, a knockout to finish, and a scoreboard to keep the departments honest.

An assault course makes the anchor for the racing, and short-round games keep the queue down between the heats. The Sweeper and Dash N Grab both take eight players at a time, and the football speed cage gives the competitive ones a number to argue about over coffee.

The indoor options matter in a city with this much weather about. We had the sweeper set up inside City of Portsmouth College in July 2026 alongside the dance machine, a light chaser game and a photo booth, and the same plug-in range covers hotel function rooms and venue halls: interactive darts, table tennis, air hockey, shuffleboard, a racing simulator, arcade machines and the dance machine, all on standard 13amp sockets, many of them staffed.

Kit, staff and the file

On specifications, the climbing wall stands ten metres tall and needs vehicle access to the pitch, so it stays an outdoor piece even when the rest of the day moves inside. The rodeo bull holds a staff party or a Christmas party crowd on its own, and both the wall and the bull fall under ADIPS inspection alongside the sweeper, on top of the annual PIPA checks on the inflatables and the PAT testing on the electrics.

The staffed list is a long one, with the Sweeper, the climbing wall, the Multi Sports Arena, human table football, laser clays and archery all coming with an operator for the duration. We've been a family-run firm since 2002 and the fleet is owned outright, so the crew that quotes is the crew that arrives. The £10 million public liability cover includes licensed premises, and the office is open Monday to Saturday nine to five and Sundays ten to four if you'd rather talk it through.

The Portsmouth event hire hub carries the full local range, from assault course hire and rodeo bull hire through to photo booth hire and Christmas entertainment. The corporate team building page explains the formats, and the Sweeper is the piece that closed the Lead Forensics day.

Being eight miles away means short lead times are usually workable, though June and December fill first. Send the date, the venue and postcode, delegate numbers, the format, team sizes and timings, the space and its size, the surface, access and power, the rough product mix, and any deadline procurement has set, and we'll quote with the paperwork attached.

We used this company for our recent corporate staff event. Excellent communication from start to finish. Arrived on time and had great interaction with the staff on the day. We will 100% be using them again.
