Corporate Event Hire Dorking

Corporate event hire in Dorking comes from the business parks along the M25 corridor and the Surrey Hills towns, about 55 miles north of our Havant workshop. The A3 and the M25 carry most of the run, with the A24 coming up past Box Hill and Mickleham into RH4 and RH5. The company days here lean towards summer BBQs and family fun days, and the ground is often sloping, so the site shapes the shortlist before anything else does.

Company days on Surrey ground

A company's annual barbecue we ran in Haslemere, over the hill in Surrey, gives the shape of the format: crazy golf, a bouncy castle, the crossbow challenge and inflatable axe throwing, spread out for the staff and their families to wander between. A fun day like that runs on age range and queueing more than on a timetable, so the go-karts with their adjustable seats and the four-lane Grand Bounce National race both earn their place when families are coming.

For a more organised day, team building works in rotations with fixed groups, and the kit that suits it is human table football with two teams of five, tag archery five a side, or the Multi Sports Arena switching between five sports while our operator handles the changeovers. Company sports days take an anchor race with short rounds either side of it.

Kit and the sloping sites

The big anchors first. The 150ft Army course takes six 13amp sockets and gives you the headline race. The two-lane Boot Camp Challenge runs 100ft and needs four sockets, drive-on access and a clear 110ft of flat space. The climbing wall is ten metres tall and needs the vehicle alongside, and the rodeo bull wants a level 20ft by 20ft area with about 10ft of clear height. Surrey Hills pitches are often on a slope, and we'll say so up front when a particular inflatable is wrong for the ground, because we don't set up where it won't stand safely.

If the booking moves indoors, the plug-in range takes over: interactive darts, arcade machines, air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis, the dance machine, a racing simulator and a photo booth, all on ordinary 13amp sockets, several of them staffed.

People and paperwork

We've been family-run since 2002 and the fleet is owned outright, so the kit and the crew you're quoted are the ones that arrive. Everyone on the crew has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams and holds current first-aid and enhanced-DBS registration. The mechanical pieces, the climbing wall, the rodeo and the sweeper, carry ADIPS inspections on top of the annual PIPA checks the inflatables get.

The Dorking event hire hub and the garden games hire in Dorking page cover the rest of the local range, including the golf courses with their slope and access guidance, which matters in this part of Surrey. The corporate team building page has the formats in more detail, and the interactive darts page covers that item.

A date, a venue and postcode, the numbers, the format and rough team sizes, and the timings will get a quote started. For anything outdoors, tell us the surface, the measurements, how the van gets in and where the nearest power sits, plus your rough product mix and any deadline the procurement team has set.

The day went well and we did a sterling job of raising awareness of the charity in the Southampton shopping centre. Please pass on our thanks to Jamie, your rodeo operator. He was very friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
