Garden Games Hire in Dorking

Garden games hire in Dorking starts with the ground: Surrey Hills venues often slope, and lawn games and putting courses each want level ground beneath them. Send a photograph of the garden and the route in from the road with your enquiry, and we'll say which games will sit level and where the putting course should run. Delivery and collection come from our own unit in Havant.

Reading the ground before you choose

The three-game package copes with the smallest patch of level ground: giant Connect 4, snakes and ladders and the Jenga tower need no power, and children and adults can both play. We set the games up, hand them over and collect them when the day is finished.

Golf is the part that wants the flattest lawn. The original crazy golf course sets out nine level putting mats, around 8ft by 2ft each, with the windmill and other obstacles, and the putters and balls come with it; on ground that falls away, a mat can sit badly and the putts will show it, so the photograph tells us what we're working with before you commit. Crazy Golf 2, built by JB Inflatables, raises its artificial-turf holes with the hazards painted in, and it wants level ground in the same way.

Cover for the indoor plan

An indoor or covered space is worth finding early in RH4 and RH5, because the package and the original golf both move onto a flat floor. Table tennis is the other covered-space game: we supply the table, net, bats and balls, and the room needs clear space beyond both ends for players to step back and play the ball.

Where the day needs a scored activity as well, laser clay pigeon shooting takes up to five shooters at a time on a 30m by 10m range, with our operator in charge and no mains requirement for the basic setup.

The people who run our kit have passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, are first-aid trained and carry enhanced-DBS registration, and venues can request the risk assessments, method statements and our £10 million public liability certificate. See Dorking event hire for the town's other equipment, garden games in Guildford for the neighbouring page, our Surrey area page for county-wide coverage, and the garden games collection for the whole range. Send your enquiry with the date, venue, lawn and indoor measurements, surface, access, guest numbers and the games you'd like, and we'll reply with a plan and a price.

Joanne is always incredibly helpful and patient with providing quotes, suggesting things that may work, putting together a package that never fails to disappoint.
