Corporate Event Hire Winchester
Corporate event hire in Winchester has some of our favourite recent work in it, because the city council books us as well as private firms. We've run Access All Areas and Party in the Park for Winchester City Council, and the hotels, university venues and function rooms round the city take the same list of kit. It's about 25 miles north of us along the M3, which keeps a Winchester day inside the regular weekly patch.
The council work gives a flavour of the range. Access All Areas with Winchester City Council had the Army assault course, human table football, crazy golf, the interactive play system, the football speed cage and the 3-in-1 sports challenge out on the day, and Party in the Park the following year added axe throwing and the brand new nine-hole crazy golf to much the same spread. A city events team booking to that scale comes with the insurance certificate, the risk assessments and the method statements from the first email.
Company days in and around the city
For companies, the ask is usually a team building or induction day with rotations, an away day with a sports-day finish, a summer BBQ with families invited, or an awards night where the room needs filling after dinner. The university ball we supplied near Winchester in May 2026 is the evening version: electronic games, the magic selfie mirror, inflatable axe throwing and the high striker kept the guests going between the bar and the dance floor. We've also dressed an empty city space from scratch with a marquee, the tables and chairs, the lighting and the styling, which is one answer when the venue list comes up short.
The kit behind those days
Anchor and short rounds is the rule for the outdoor ones. The Army assault course, the same piece the council bookings take, runs to 150ft and wants six 13amp sockets, and the Boot Camp Challenge alternative takes four sockets, driveable access and 110ft of clear flat ground. The climbing wall goes up to ten metres and needs the vehicle alongside, the rodeo bull wants a flat 20ft by 20ft area with about 10ft of clear height, and the Sweeper, Dash N Grab, High Striker and Multi Sports Arena fill the gaps in short rounds so the queue keeps moving.
Paperwork a council or procurement team expects
On staffing, the Sweeper, the climbing wall, archery, laser clays, human table football, the Multi Sports Arena, the pedal go-karts and Dash N Grab all arrive with one of our operators for the whole hire. The crew hold the RPII operator and supervisor exams, the climbing wall, rodeo and Sweeper carry ADIPS inspections as mechanical devices, and the cover is £10 million public liability. Risk assessments and method statements are part of the pack a council or procurement team expects, and we've had plenty of practice with both.
The M3 run covers about 25 miles from the yard, and Winchester sites are mostly school fields, fête meadows, cathedral-close lawns and hotel grounds. For a listed or close setting, give us the access details at enquiry stage and we'll check the fit before the date. Each inflatable wants a 13amp socket within 20 metres and a route in at least 36 inches wide, and the generator travels up when the nearest power is a long walk from the kit.
The Winchester event hire hub carries the full local range, with the assault course hire in Winchester, shooting games hire in Winchester and photo booth hire in Winchester pages covering the usual corporate picks. The garden games hire in Winchester page is the one for the self-run corner of a fun day. The corporate team building page has the whole range, and interactive darts is the piece that most often anchors an indoor evening.
Enquiries work best with the date, the venue and its postcode, delegate numbers, the format and team sizes, timings, the room or ground measurements, surface, access, power and a rough product list. Tell us about any procurement deadline for the compliance paperwork too, since the certificate and statements can be sent with the quote.
The guys who delivered and set up were polite and professional the whole time and made our day run smoothly, would highly recommend and I look forward to working with them again soon.
