Corporate Event Hire Totton

Corporate event hire in Totton is SO40 work along the A326 and the Southampton fringe, the business parks and the venues sitting just outside the New Forest boundary. We're based in Havant, about 25 miles away, and Totton sits close enough to Southampton that the two diaries overlap most weekends. Team building days, company sports days and staff parties at the Forest-edge venues are the shape of the work here.

Formats along the A326

A company day here usually wants either a sports day with heats or a looser family fun day where people drift between the kit. For the first, one anchor attraction plus short rounds keeps everybody busy: the 150ft Army course draws six 13amp sockets, Big Red at 80ft draws three and wants the van nearby, and the Sweeper and Dash N Grab both take eight players for quick rounds. For the second, the pedal go-karts with their adjustable seats cover ages five to adult and come with an operator, which matters when families are on the invite.

Forest-fringe ground is often gravelly, sloped or lifted by roots, so the flat-space checks come before anything else. Boot Camp Challenge needs 110ft of clear flat space with drive-on access, the ten-metre climbing wall needs vehicle access beside it, and the rodeo bull needs a flat 20ft by 20ft pitch with clear height of around 10ft. We'll always tell you before booking if the site rules something out.

Indoors and the paperwork

The hotels and function rooms around Totton take the indoor range easily: interactive darts, air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis, the dance machine and the racing simulator, all plug-in on 13amp sockets, many of them staffed. The risk assessments and method statements are attached to the quote for the procurement file, the insurance is £10 million public liability with licensed-premises cover, and the inflatables are PIPA-tagged and inspected every year by the RPII inspector on our own staff. Nothing is sub-hired, and the crew who turn up are ours, enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained.

The climbing wall deserves a mention for the bigger sites because it draws a crowd all day and gives the company day a visible centrepiece, though it does need the lorry right beside it. For a smaller budget or a smaller lawn, the High Striker, the magnetic leaderboard and the carnival games fill out a sports day without the big inflatables. An office party or a Christmas do in one of the local function rooms takes the electronic games and a photo booth instead, and the Totton Christmas entertainment page lists the December versions.

Links and getting a quote

The Totton event hire hub has the rest of what we deliver to SO40, and the rodeo bull hire Totton and assault course hire Totton pages cover the big pieces in detail. The parent for this page is the corporate team building range, which lists everything from the tag archery to the laser clays. Southampton itself is the next city east if your venue falls the other side of the boundary.

Send the date, the venue and its postcode, the rough headcount, the format and the timings, and we'll quote from there. How much lawn or field there is, what it's like underfoot, how wide the way in is and how far the sockets sit from the pitch all help, and office managers juggling a budget sign-off can include that deadline too.

We used this company for our recent corporate staff event. Excellent communication from start to finish. Arrived on time and had great interaction with the staff on the day. We will 100% be using them again.
