Corporate Event Hire Southampton

Corporate event hire in Southampton covers SO14 to SO19, from the city-centre function rooms and university sites to the business parks and the Common. Our Havant workshop is about 22 miles back down the M27, and we're in the city most weekends through the season. The corporate diary here has runs on the board: the Ordnance Survey company charity day in June 2026 filled a room with electrical games and a rodeo bull while the climbing wall and assault course ran on the grass outside, and the university's end-of-year staff party in July 2026 had our human table football, giant buzz wire and high striker.

What Southampton companies have booked

The Ordnance Survey charity day we ran in June 2026 shows how a split site works, with the rodeo bull and electrical games indoors and the climbing wall, assault course and football darts out on the grass. The bull needs a flat 20ft by 20ft operating area and one standard socket, while the climbing wall stands ten metres tall and needs its supervisor plus vehicle access, so it belongs outdoors where the lorry can reach. We ran a Wild West themed evening for the university with the bull in May 2026, and the fan zone at St Mary's Stadium had the wall in September 2025.

The city-centre charity rodeo we ran for Enham, in the main shopping area, is the sort of booking where the paperwork gets read by strangers: high footfall, members of the public invited on to the ride, and a venue team that needed to see everything before sign-off. The bull went out with its operator, its ADIPS inspection records and the insurance certificate, and the charity wrote afterwards to thank Jamie, our operator on the day, for how he handled the crowd. If your HR team or event agency is weighing a public-facing company day in the shopping streets, that one is proof it can be done cleanly.

Filling the rest of the day

One anchor plus short rounds is the rule once a company day goes past fifty or so people. The Sweeper takes eight at a time as a knockout, Dash N Grab runs eight for quick bursts, and the High Striker and the football speed cage give the competitive ones a number to beat. For team building days built on rotations, human table football takes two teams of five, the Multi Sports Arena switches between five sports with our operator on the changeovers, and Combat Tag Archery plays five a side on grass or in a sports hall.

When the whole day is indoors, the electronic range covers it, from interactive darts and the racing simulator to air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis and the dance machine, all running off 13amp sockets with a photo booth in the corner for the group shots. Awards nights and conferences at the city hotels take the same range, with delegates moving between stations through the evening.

Paperwork, people and links

Every staff member we send is enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained, the fleet is owned outright with no sub-contracting, and the climbing wall, rodeo and Sweeper carry ADIPS inspections alongside the annual PIPA inspections on the inflatables. The Southampton event hire hub has the rest of the SO14 to SO19 diary, with the assault course hire Southampton and shooting games hire Southampton pages for those sides of the fleet. The parent range sits on the corporate team building page, and the rodeo bull hire Southampton page covers the bull and its seasonal attachments.

To get a quote moving, send the date, the venue and its postcode or the part of the city you're aiming at, the delegate numbers and the format. Team sizes, timings, the size of the room or lawn, the surface and the power all sharpen the price, and a note of any procurement deadline for the insurance certificate or method statements gets dealt with alongside.

The day went well and we did a sterling job of raising awareness of the charity in the Southampton shopping centre. Please pass on our thanks to Jamie, your rodeo operator. He was very friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
