Student Event Hire Petersfield
Student event hire in Petersfield is mostly sixth form work, with Churcher's College's sixth form and the town's secondary schools running leavers days, reward days and open days through the summer term. Petersfield sits about fourteen miles up the A3 from our Havant unit, a fifteen-minute run on a clear day, so the van is never far away. Our college freshers work along the south coast fills September, and the Petersfield calendar leans towards the warmer months.
The further education and sixth form year in East Hampshire runs from taster days for year 11s in the autumn, through Christmas dinners and February balls, out to the leavers days and summer balls of May, June and July. A leavers afternoon usually means a spread of activity kit on the school field with the year group rotating through it, and an open day needs kit that visiting families stop and watch. Welcome days for the new lower sixth are the September version, and they work like any college induction, with groups arriving in waves.
What we have run at Churcher's
Churcher's College has had us back for its summer open day, and in July 2026 we had laser clay pigeon shooting and the laser tag arena out on their field for it. The clay pigeon range gives the sixth form something competitive without live ammunition, and the laser tag arena swallows a whole friendship group at once, which is why those two go out together so often. The Petersfield School's open morning is the other one we've covered in the town, with the football speed cage giving the visiting families a number to argue about on the way round. Reward days and leavers events fill the rest of the summer term across the town's schools, and we are up and down the A3 for them most weeks.
For a leavers day, the last man standing sweeper, the surf simulator and the rodeo bull are the usual core, with the bungee run and the assault courses soaking up the rest of the queue. The climbing wall and the laser clays suit the sites with more room. If the weather turns, the day moves indoors, since the dance machine, the arcade corner and the under pressure challenge all plug into a 13amp socket in the hall.
Booking through the school or college
A school or college booking usually comes through a bursar, an events office or a procurement route, and the paperwork is the part they ask about first. We carry £10 million public liability insurance with licensed-premises cover on top, every member of staff is enhanced-DBS registered and first-aid trained, and the crew hold the RPII operator and supervisor exams. With under-18s in the year group, the DBS register is the detail the office tends to check, and it's current for all of us.
Marquees and the outdoor inflatables want flat grass, and every outdoor inflatable goes out with an anemometer and the 24mph wind cutoff. The rodeo bull wants around 20ft by 20ft and enough ceiling if it's under a marquee. Multi-day bookings, applicants weeks and repeated open days are routine for us, and the same kit and crew come back for each day of them.
The Petersfield event hire hub covers the local range, and the rodeo bull hire in Petersfield, photo booth hire in Petersfield and garden games hire in Petersfield sides of a student booking are all on the hub. The student and freshers event hire and college and university event hire pages cover the calendar nationally. The last man standing sweeper and green screen photo booth product pages carry the measurements and the detail.
To build a quote, tell us the school or college, the year group, the date, the field or hall, the timings and roughly how many students are coming through. If the day has a wet-weather plan, mention it at enquiry stage and we'll pick kit that works either side of the weather.
Well organised. Our students really enjoyed the event
