Corporate Event Hire Islington

Corporate event hire in Islington is a run of about 75 miles from Havant, A3 and round the M25 or in via the A40, and the diary in N1 and the surrounding postcodes mixes corporate events with the school and community work that fills our London weeks. Inner-London venues here have some of the trickiest access we deal with anywhere, so this page covers what fits a hall, a courtyard or a function room before anybody commits to a shortlist. The conference venues and offices around Upper Street and the City Road fringe give the borough its company-side calendar.

Games that suit an N1 venue

Much of the corporate work in Islington happens indoors, in a function room, a hired hall or a venue with a courtyard out the back, and the plug-in range suits that: interactive darts, air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis, the dance machine, arcade machines, a racing simulator and a photo booth, all running off standard 13amp sockets with several staffed by our own crew. For a conference or an awards night, the stations give delegates something to do between sessions, and everything packs back down into the room at the end of the night.

Where a site has ground, a company sports day or summer BBQ can take the bigger pieces, built on the same pattern as anywhere else, one anchor attraction ringed with short rounds. The rodeo bull works on a flat 20ft by 20ft pitch as long as there's roughly 10ft of clear height above it and a socket nearby. The 150ft Army Assault Course draws six 13amp sockets and a long clear run, the Boot Camp Challenge needs four sockets, drive-on access and 110ft of flat space, and the ten-metre climbing wall travels with vehicle access and its own supervisor, which it never goes without.

Recent north London work and staffing

The borough's calendar keeps us in north London most weeks of the season. One sixth-form leavers' day in the north of the capital took the laser clay pigeon shoot, the rodeo bull, the last man standing sweeper and a set of inflatables out together, and a north London activity day later that season combined the archery and axe throwing range with a laser tag arena and an assault course. On the staffing side, the Sweeper, climbing wall, archery, laser clays, human table football, the Multi Sports Arena, pedal go-karts and Dash N Grab all come with our own operators, first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS registered, so a rotation day works to a timetable somebody from our team is controlling.

Islington sites need the access picture early. Under our terms, the pitch sits within 50 metres of where the van stops, the route in is at least 36 inches wide the whole way, and each inflatable draws from a 13amp socket within 20 metres. Parking round N1 usually means a resident bay or a controlled zone, so the hirer sorts the van's spot and we plan the unloading around whatever the street is doing on the day. If the power sits any further off, a generator comes with us, and if a site isn't safe on arrival, we won't proceed with the set-up, even at the cost of the job.

We're a family business, run by Joanne and David Morris since 2002, and everything that comes up to Islington belongs to us, with no sub-contracting between the quote and the day. The £10 million public liability policy includes licensed-premises cover, every inflatable is PIPA-tagged and inspected each year by our in-house RPII inspector, and the electricals carry current PAT certificates. Risk assessments and method statements go out with the booking, which is generally the first thing a venue manager or an event agency's compliance pack asks to see.

The Islington event hire hub lists everything we deliver in the borough, and the garden games hire in Islington page covers the power-free giants for a courtyard or a tight garden. Interactive darts is the card we send to most indoor corporate dates, with table tennis alongside it, and the full company range sits on the corporate team building page for HR teams and event agencies planning the calendar.

Send us the date, the venue and its postcode, how many delegates are coming, whether the day is a structured team-building rotation or a party, and the timings you're working to. For the space, the indoor and outdoor measurements, the surface, the access route, the distance to the nearest socket and the indoor ceiling height all matter, and team sizes help where there's a scoreboard involved. A brief with a procurement deadline attached is welcome, and we'll price from whatever you send us.

I can't recommend Monster highly enough - their flexibility, positive attitude and willingness to go over and above is why we continue to use them year on year.
