Corporate Event Hire Fleet
Corporate event hire in Fleet mostly means the business parks along the M3 corridor, where office managers and HR teams in GU51 and GU52 book everything from an induction day to the Christmas do. The town sits about 38 miles north of our Havant workshop, M3 most of the way, so a morning set-up before the delegates arrive is a routine run. We're back at the RAF Odiham family fun day a few miles out of town most summers, which keeps us familiar with the ground round here.
What Fleet companies book
A company sports day wants one anchor race and enough short games around it to keep everybody playing, and we're happy to run the heats and hold the stopwatch ourselves. Induction and team building days suit a rotation, with teams moving between stations on a timetable agreed in advance. The informal end of the year, a summer BBQ, a family fun day or the December staff party, runs on kit people drift towards, so we plan those around age range and queue lengths. Come December, the Fleet diary fills with staff parties along the M3, with the Hart district halls taking the smaller spreads and the business parks taking the bigger ones.
Kit, space and power
On the outdoor side, the course you choose sets the site requirements. Our 150ft Army Assault Course counts six standard 13amp sockets among its needs, and the two-lane Boot Camp Challenge takes four sockets, drive-on access and at least 110ft of clear flat space. The 80ft Big Red course manages on three sockets and also wants a vehicle able to reach the pitch. Around the anchor we put the short rounds, with the Last Man Standing Sweeper and Dash N Grab each taking eight players, and the High Striker and Multi Sports Arena filling the gaps between heats. The climbing wall, ten metres tall and needing clear vehicle access, gives a sports day a second headline if the ground allows.
Indoors, the whole electronic range plugs into ordinary 13amp sockets: interactive darts, arcade machines, air hockey, shuffleboard, table tennis, the dance machine and a racing simulator, with the photo booth staffed by an attendant. A conference social or awards night in a hotel function room runs happily on that list, and we once filled a London venue with nine such activities for an induction evening with more than 500 delegates.
Local work and the paperwork
The nearest big fixture on our Fleet calendar is the RAF Odiham family fun day, a repeat booking a few miles out of town where we bring a range of inflatables and games for the station families. It's a family day, though it shows the scale of set-up we handle in this corner of Hampshire.
For the person signing off the purchase order, the Sweeper, climbing wall, archery, laser clays, human table football, Multi Sports Arena, pedal go-karts and Dash N Grab all come with one of our own operators for the whole hire. We're a family business, run by Joanne and David Morris since 2002, and the fleet is owned outright with nothing sub-hired. The £10 million public liability certificate, risk assessments and method statements are ready for the procurement file, and every inflatable carries its PIPA tag with the annual inspection done by our in-house RPII inspector.
The run up covers about 38 miles, nearly all of it motorway, and kit for a Fleet booking leaves the yard with the same crew and paperwork as a job five minutes from base. How many delegates you're expecting is the single most useful figure when you first get in touch.
Everything else we deliver in the town is on the Fleet event hire hub, from assault course hire in Fleet and rodeo bull hire in Fleet to photo booth hire in Fleet and garden games hire in Fleet. The corporate range as a whole sits on the team building and corporate events page, and the Sweeper and interactive darts have pages of their own.
To get a price, email or ring with the date, the venue and its postcode, delegate numbers, the format you have in mind, team sizes and timings, and a description of the space, whether it's indoors or out, its measurements, the surface, the access route and the power on hand. A rough product mix helps, and if procurement has a deadline for the insurance paperwork, send us that too.
Please can you pass on our thanks to Mark and Nathan for their fantastic supervision of the bungee run yesterday. They really made it such fun for all and everyone thought that they were brilliant.
