Student Event Hire Ascot

Student event hire in Ascot has been school work above everything else, because LVS Ascot, the day and boarding school with its own sixth form, keeps us coming back for boarders' events through the summer term. The leavers BBQ for the boarders in June 2026 was the latest of them, and the run from Havant is about 50 miles. What follows is the kit that suits a boarding and sixth form crowd, and how a school site changes the planning.

Boarders' events at LVS Ascot

The boarders at LVS Ascot are a date we keep every year, first for a Sunday session of competitive inflatables and football games in 2025, then for the leavers BBQ in June 2026. A boarding weekend wants kit that teenagers will spend a whole afternoon on, and a leavers BBQ wants the same with a queue and a crowd round it. A returning booking like that is the shape of the work here.

For an afternoon on the school field, the outdoor kit carries the day: the bungee run, the assault courses, the last man standing sweeper and the football games all run off a field socket or a generator, and the climbing wall and laser tag are the other regulars for summer term events. If the do runs on into the evening, the surf simulator and the rodeo bull give it something to gather round.

A BBQ for over a hundred people runs on logistics as much as kit, and the review below says the same from the organiser's side. The questions a school estate team asks are the ones we plan around anyway: where the van parks, where the power comes from and what happens if the wind picks up. Outdoor inflatables go out with an anemometer, and 24mph is the written stopping point, so the decision on the day is a rule anyone on site can read. Is there a socket within reach of the field, or does the generator travel with us?

The sixth form and the school calendar

The sixth form side of the school books like the colleges do, with a Christmas ball in December, the February ball and the leavers season in May and June, and the autumn term brings welcome day style socials that work like a college freshers week. The photo booths and the selfie mirror arrive staffed and print on the night, the arcade machines and the dance machine run off a standard 13amp socket in the common room, and a rodeo wants 20ft by 20ft of clear ground with enough height above the saddle. University balls we run elsewhere follow the same arithmetic of floor, sockets and headroom.

A school booking clears through the bursary or the head's office, and the insurance certificate, the risk assessment and the method statement go across before the date is confirmed. For an event with boarders under eighteen, the enhanced-DBS registration on every staff member we send is the first box the office looks to tick.

We are a family business run by Joanne and David Morris since 2002, the fleet is owned outright with nothing hired in, and the crew hold the RPII operator and supervisor exams alongside their first-aid training.

Ascot is roughly 50 miles from the workshop, usually the A3 and then the M25 or the M3 depending on the route. The leavers BBQ ran on a Sunday afternoon, and the Sunday sessions before it were weekend fixtures as well, which is the normal rhythm of boarders' events.

The Ascot event hire hub and the garden games hire in Ascot page are the local ones. The wider student range sits on students and freshers and college and university events, and the rodeo bull and sweeper pages list what each one needs in space and power.

Send the school or college, the event, the date, the site or room, the numbers and the age range, and tell us where the power and the parking sit. If the office needs the paperwork back before a half term to sign the date off, say so and we'll turn it round quickly.

Arranging a BBQ for over 120 children and adults is quite stressful but with their professionalism, everything ran smoothly.
