How much space and power do the bigger inflatables need?

They need open, reasonably level space, room for the anchor points, an access route the units will actually fit through, and a tested 240v supply within reach, usually two or three standard 13amp sockets depending on the unit. For field sites with no power we bring a generator. We ask for the site details at quote stage rather than discovering them on the day.

Are the larger inflatables staffed?

It depends on the item. Some are staffed by a trained operator where the unit requires it, and the rest can be self-supervised by your own marshals once we have set up, anchored and tested them. Tell us which you would prefer and we will confirm what each unit needs.

Are they inspected and insured for council and school events?

Every unit is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector, the electrical equipment is PAT-tested, and the staff are enhanced-DBS registered. We carry £10 million public liability cover and can send the insurance certificate, risk assessment and method statement to a council office or school on request.

We do. Surrey is part of our PIPA inspection territory, so alongside our own hires we run the annual safety inspections and RPII operator training for other hire companies across the county. The standards we apply to our own fleet are the same ones we audit other operators against.
