Princess Bouncy Castle With Side Slide

The princess bouncy castle with side slide - also called a princess side slide combi castle, or a princess castle and slide combo - is a pink and purple inflatable with a slide built into one side and fairytale princess artwork across the front and back. Blonde and dark-haired princesses stand on the front pillars in gold and green gowns, there is a pink fairytale castle and another princess on the inside back wall, and a crown and a pink banner sit across the top.

The slide runs down one side from the bounce area to ground level, so children climb up inside the castle and come down the slide, rather than it being a separate inflatable you would have to find more room for. It measures 18.5ft wide by 14.5ft deep and stands 11ft high, with the slide making up part of that width. The peaked pink roof is a fitted cover, so there is a bit of shade over the bounce area. The front is open so you can keep an eye on everyone from outside, and there are crash mats across the front.

This one is built for children only, not the all-ages castles we also keep, so it suits children's birthday parties, christenings, family gatherings, school fun days and village fêtes where it is the little ones bouncing. A flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing works best, and it runs off a blower from a standard mains socket. It stands a fair height once it is up, so flag any low branches, washing lines or a low garage ceiling when you enquire, and let us know about narrow gates or a slope on the way in.

How we hire it out

We have run Monster Event Hire from our unit in Havant since 2002, and all the kit is ours. The person who delivers and sets it up is one of our own staff, not a sub-contractor. Everyone on the road has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, is first-aid trained, and is enhanced-DBS registered, which matters when you are booking for a children's party or a school. The castle is PIPA-tagged and inspected every year by our in-house RPII inspector, and it is built to BS EN 14960:2019. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate available on request, and we hold additional licensed-premises cover, so a pub, club or bar venue is no problem.

If you are after a princess castle without the slide, we keep the Princess Bouncy Castle and the Princess Pink Bouncy Castle, both 12ft by 14ft, and the All Ages Princess Bouncy Castle at 15ft by 16ft if the grown-ups want a go too. There is more in the full range of children's bouncy castles and across our bouncy castle hire, and if it is a big slide you are after rather than a castle, have a look at the mega slides.

We deliver across Hampshire and Surrey, with plenty of work in Portsmouth, Southampton, Havant and Waterlooville. Tell us your postcode, the date and where it is going when you enquire, and we will check the castle fits your site and sort you a price.

Frequently asked questions

Is the princess castle with side slide suitable for adults, or just children?

This one is built for children only, so it is sized and rated for little ones rather than grown-ups. If you want a princess castle the adults can get on too, ask about our All Ages Princess Bouncy Castle, which is the 15ft by 16ft version built to take adults and children together.

How much space do I need for the princess castle with side slide?

It is 18.5ft wide by 14.5ft deep and stands 11ft high, and you need clear room around it for the blower, the crash mats and the run-out at the foot of the slide. A flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing is ideal. The height catches people out, so flag any low branches, washing lines or a low garage ceiling if it is going indoors, and let us know about narrow gates or a slope on the way in.

Is the slide separate, or part of the castle?

The slide is built into one side of the castle, so it is a single combi unit rather than a separate inflatable. Children bounce in the main area, climb up inside and come down the slide. It means you only need room for the one piece of kit, not a castle and a slide side by side.
