Princess Bouncy Castle 12ft x 14ft
The Princess bouncy castle - sometimes called a princess castle or a fairytale bouncy castle - is our 12ft by 14ft storybook castle in pink and blue, with a princess on each of the front pillars. One has a black bob and a red bow with a yellow skirt, the other waves from a blue ballgown, and across the top arch there is a pink castle with towers and blue roofs sitting on a cloud, with little birds carrying ribbons between the towers. The back wall inside carries one more princess in a pink gown against a night-blue sky, so once it is up it reads as a proper fairy tale from across the garden. The bounce bed and the front step are pink, the pillars and arch are blue, and there is a fitted cover over the top.
It stands somewhere around 10 to 11ft high, which is the taller end of our 12ft by 14ft castles, so it is at its best out on a lawn or a field rather than under a low village-hall ceiling. It does go indoors, and the photo shows it set up on mats in a wood-panelled hall, but send us the ceiling height and the access route when you enquire and we will confirm it clears before you book. Outdoors it wants a flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing with a bit of room around it for the blower, the anchor points and the crash mats, and it runs off a standard 13-amp socket.
It is rated for children only, which fits how it gets booked: birthday parties for little ones, school fairs, christenings, nursery and playgroup events, village fêtes and church or community days. Caroline Carlin had a princess castle from us at her daughter's birthday party in 2017 and wrote afterwards: "She had the princess castle and the kids loved it." If the grown-ups want a turn as well, the All Ages Princess Bouncy Castle is the same theme at 15ft by 16ft and built to take adults and children together. The Princess Pink castle is the same 12ft by 14ft size covered in hearts and butterflies, and the Princess castle with a side slide adds a slide down one side for the same sort of party.

How we hire it out
Joanne and David have run Monster Event Hire from the commercial unit in Havant since 2002, and every castle in the fleet belongs to us rather than being sub-hired in, so the crew that delivers and sets up works for us. Everyone on the road has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, holds a current first-aid qualification and is enhanced-DBS registered, which is worth knowing when the booking is a party full of five-year-olds or a school fair. The castle is PIPA-tagged, built to BS EN 14960:2019, and inspected annually by our own RPII inspector, whose reports sit alongside the risk assessments we can send for your venue's paperwork. We carry £10 million public liability insurance plus the extra licensed-premises cover, so a club or pub function room is no obstacle.
Tell us the venue, the date and the ceiling height when you enquire, wherever you are between Havant and Portsmouth or further across Hampshire and Surrey. The rest of the range is on the children's bouncy castles and bouncy castle hire pages.

Frequently asked questions
Can adults go on the Princess bouncy castle?
No. It is built and rated for children only, like most of our themed castles. If you want a princess castle the grown-ups can bounce on too, the All Ages Princess Bouncy Castle is the same theme at 15ft by 16ft and rated for adults and children together.
Will the Princess castle fit in a village hall?
It stands around 10 to 11ft high, which clears plenty of halls but not all of them, so measure the ceiling and send us the number along with the access route. If your ceiling is on the low side, the Pirate bouncy castle at 9ft high is the one we usually recommend for indoor parties.
Does the Princess castle have a rain cover?
Yes, there is a fitted cover over the top, so a passing shower does not have to stop the party. The cover does not change the wind rules, because every outdoor hire goes out with an anemometer and a written procedure, and the castle comes down at the 24mph cutoff whatever is fitted over it.
