Jungle Bouncy Castle (orange) 12ft X 14ft

The Jungle bouncy castle - sometimes called a safari bouncy castle or an animal-themed bouncy castle - is a 12ft-by-14ft children's inflatable in bright orange, with a jungle scene painted over it. A giraffe peers over the top of the back wall, a lion sits on one front pillar and a green crocodile on the other, two tropical birds perch on the arch, and a toucan and a pair of palm trees fill the back wall behind the bounce area. The bounce bed and the front step are green and teal, and it comes with a fitted cover, so a passing shower doesn't have to stop play.

It is rated for children only, so this one suits a kids' party rather than a mixed adult-and-child crowd. At 12ft by 14ft it is one of our smaller castles, which makes it a sensible fit for a back garden, a school hall or a village hall. It stands 10ft high, lower than most of our castles, so it is easier to get indoors than the taller units, and the photo was taken with it set up in one. You still want a flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing, with a bit of room around the castle for the blower, the anchor points and children getting on and off. If there is a narrow side gate, a slope or a low branch in the way, let us know when you enquire and we will work out whether it fits.

It tends to work at children's birthday parties, school fun days, nursery and playgroup events, village fêtes, church and community days, and family gatherings where the guests are mostly young. If you want a jungle castle that takes adults as well, the larger 20ft Animal Bouncer is the same idea in a bigger, all-ages unit. For another castle the same 12ft-by-14ft size, we also keep the Pirate bouncy castle and the Princess bouncy castle.

  • Wind-speed anemometer and safety paperwork supplied with every outdoor hire
  • Delivery, setup and collection across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and London

How we hire it out

We've run Monster Event Hire from our unit in Havant since 2002, and all the kit is ours. The person who delivers and sets up is one of our own staff, not a sub-contractor. Everyone on the road has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, is first-aid trained, and is enhanced-DBS registered, which matters when the booking is a children's party, a school or a playgroup. The castle is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate available on request, and we hold additional licensed-premises cover, so a booking at a pub, club or social club is no problem.

Tell us the venue and the date when you get in touch and we will sort out a quote, whether you are in Havant, Portsmouth, Southampton or further across Hampshire and Surrey. You can see the rest of what we carry on the children's bouncy castles and bouncy castle hire pages.

Hi Joanne,

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for Sunday. The activities were brilliant, the children and staff loved them and the staff who set up and took away were really helpful.

We’ll definitely be in touch for future events.

Thank you again

Frequently asked questions

Can adults use the Jungle bouncy castle?

No. This one is rated for children only, so it is not built for a mixed adult-and-child crowd. If you want the same jungle look in a castle that takes grown-ups too, the 20ft Animal Bouncer is rated for both children and adults and gives a far bigger bounce area.

How much space do I need for the 12ft x 14ft Jungle castle?

The castle is 12ft wide by 14ft deep, but you need a bit more room than that for the blower, the anchor points and children getting on and off. A flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing works best. The things to flag when you enquire are a narrow side gate, a slope or a low branch, because the castle has to be carried in and anchored down properly.

Can the Jungle castle be set up indoors?

Yes. It stands 10ft high, which is lower than most of our castles, so it clears the ceilings in a lot of school and village halls, and the photo was taken with it set up in a hall. Measure your ceiling height before you book and let us know the access route, because it still has to be carried in through the door.
