Animal Bouncer Bouncy Castle Hire - 20ft Jungle Castle

The Animal Bouncer - sometimes called a wildlife bouncy castle, a jungle bouncy castle, a safari bouncy castle or an animal-themed bouncer - is our 20ft by 20ft inflatable, built to take both children and adults. It runs yellow and orange on the outside with a green bouncing floor inside, and a tall giraffe stands on each side panel next to the entrance. The arched header across the top carries a row of cartoon animal faces, a gorilla in the middle with monkeys and others either side, and the back wall behind the bounce area is a painted jungle scene with assorted cartoon wildlife. The front is open, so you can keep an eye on everyone from outside, and the arched roof doubles as a fitted cover over the bounce area.

At 20ft wide, 20ft deep and 15ft high it is one of the larger castles we keep, so it wants a fair bit of ground and a good amount of headroom. A flat, well-drained patch of grass or hard standing works best. The height is the thing people forget, so flag any low branches, washing lines or a low hall ceiling if it is going indoors, and let us know about narrow gates or slopes on the access route so we can work out whether it fits before the day. It runs off a blower from a standard mains socket.

Because it takes adults as well as children, it is a useful pick for family birthday parties, school fun days, village fêtes, corporate fun days and community events where the age range is mixed, and the jungle theme goes down well at animal and safari-themed parties. The fitted cover keeps a bit of Hampshire drizzle and direct sun off the bounce area, so a passing shower doesn't have to end the session. David hired a castle from us for a party with both children and adults, and told us afterwards that "the bouncy castle went down very well with the children and grown-ups, thank you for an excellent service".

How we hire it out

We've run Monster Event Hire from our unit in Havant since 2002, and all the kit is ours. The person who delivers and sets up is one of our own staff, not a sub-contractor you have never spoken to before. Everyone on the road has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, is first-aid trained, and is enhanced-DBS registered, which matters if you are booking for a school, a children's party or any event with young people or vulnerable adults. The castle is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector, and risk assessments are available for every piece of kit we hire. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate available on request, and we hold additional licensed-premises cover, so there is no issue if your venue is a pub, club or bar.
