75ft Army Assault Course

The 75ft Army Assault Course - also listed as an army obstacle course, military assault course, or inflatable army run - is a 75ft camouflage-print inflatable in greens, browns and tan, with "Ultimate Challenge" along the side and a 10ft slide tower at the far end. It sits in the middle of our army range and it's the one we get asked for most often, which is probably why it's out at events most weekends through the spring and summer.

Participants start through the letterbox entrance and work their way down the course, weaving between the biff-and-bash soldiers - those are the cylindrical rollers printed with soldier silhouettes and red-and-white target designs - ducking through the tunnels, squeezing through the mangles, and hitting the slip-and-slide section before climbing the tower and coming down the 10ft mega slide to finish. You can send people through one at a time and time them, or let the queue regulate itself with the next person starting once the person ahead has cleared the first few obstacles, which keeps things moving at a busy event without everyone standing about.

It works for children and adults. School fun days and reward days, corporate team-building, birthday parties, 18ths, sports days, village fetes and community festivals are all a natural fit. It's a single-lane course so head-to-head racing isn't the format, but timed runs work and people seem to enjoy standing at the side watching almost as much as having a go themselves.

If 75 feet is more than your site will take, we run the same army-style course smaller: the 60ft and 50ft. What you get

The kit is ours outright, PIPA-tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector - the PIPA scheme is the only HSE-recognised inflatable inspection scheme. For outdoor hires we supply an anemometer and follow the standard wind-safety procedure: readings every thirty minutes, mandatory evacuation and shutdown at 24mph (Force 5). Every member of our team has passed the RPII operator and supervisor exams, holds a current first-aid certificate, and is enhanced DBS registered.

The £10 million public liability insurance certificate and the equipment risk assessment are available on request. We also carry licensed-premises cover for bookings at pubs, clubs and bars. We deliver, set it up and collect it across the region - you can supervise it yourself with a responsible adult, or one of our staff can stay on to run it for you. It covers the same ground as our larger courses but fits sites where the 150ft or 125ft won't, which is one reason it's the one people tend to book.
