50ft Army Assault Course
The 50ft Army Assault Course - sometimes called a 50ft army obstacle course or military assault course - is a camouflage-themed inflatable run that ends with a slide. At 50ft long, 12ft wide and 12ft high, it is the shortest of our army assault courses, which makes it a practical choice when you have a decent length of grass but not room for the 60ft, 75ft or 86ft versions.
The course is printed in green, yellow, brown and grey camo panels with green trim. Riders work their way past biff-and-bash soldier target pillars, through crawl-through sections and over padded climb-over walls before finishing on the slide. It is built as a single run, so you can run it as a timed race if you want a competitive element, or it can run as a steady queue at a school fair or village fête.
We deliver and set up from our commercial unit in Havant, PO9, where Joanne and David have run Monster Event Hire since 2002 and every piece of kit is ours - no sub-contracting. Our inflatables are PIPA tagged and inspected annually by our in-house RPII inspector, the blowers are PAT tested, and we carry £10 million public liability insurance including licensed-premises cover. Every member of staff is RPII trained, first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS checked. We issue a wind-safety anemometer and documented 24mph cutoff procedure with every inflatable hire, and risk assessments and method statements are available on request.
This is a self-supervised inflatable as standard, but we can supply a Monster operator if you would prefer it staffed. That works well for large school events, corporate team-building days or any booking where you would rather not manage the queue yourselves.
It tends to get booked for birthday parties, school fun days, Scout and Cub camps, corporate family days and community festivals. We cover Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and London, including regular deliveries to Portsmouth, Guildford, Southampton and Basingstoke. If your venue is in a managed park or on council land, we can provide the insurance certificate and paperwork they usually ask for.
Charlotte, who hired an inflatable assault course for a children's party, said: "Everything went to plan and the kids had a fantastic time! I'll be back in touch to book the same again for next year."

Frequently asked questions
-
What obstacles are on the 50ft Army Assault Course? The course has biff-and-bash soldier target pillars, crawl-through sections, padded climb-over walls and a slide at the end. The route is built into the unit, so it runs the same way every time.
-
How much space does it need? The inflatable itself is 50ft long by 12ft wide and 12ft high. You also need clearance around it for anchorage and blower placement, plus a safe run-off at the slide end. Send us a site photo if space is tight and we will check it before you book.
-
Does it come with a staff member? It is hired as a self-supervised inflatable as standard, which means you provide a responsible adult to manage the queue and follow the safety briefing. We can supply a Monster operator instead if you prefer.
