iWall Shadow Master

An iWall is a freestanding gaming wall with two big screens and a body-tracking sensor, built by CSE Entertainment in Finland. You play standing on the marked floor mat in front of it, and the screens answer how you lean, jump and reach. Shadow Master is the quiet one on the menu: a movement game built around mobility, balance and coordination, with flowing sequences the maker describes as inspired by tai chi. The movements come up on the screens and you match them, and the sensor reads how closely you follow.

There are difficulty levels across the whole range, so it works for people who haven't moved much in years as well as the naturally flexible, and the exercises are designed by fitness professionals, per the maker. Selected levels are suitable for wheelchair users, which makes it one of the games that lets a mixed-ability group get a turn on the same terms.

It's the game we'd put on for a wellbeing room at a corporate away day, an older group at a community event, or a school session where a fast run-around game would leave half the room watching from the side. The maker also credits it with muscular endurance work, so it's not as gentle as it looks once a level gets going.

It runs on our iWall, one of only a handful in the country. The unit is freestanding with a floor mat in front, so it needs a clear run of floor and a socket within reach, and we confirm the running space, power and staffing on the quote once we know your room.
