iWall Dodge

Our iWall is a two-screen interactive gaming wall from CSE Entertainment in Finland, and every game on it is played by moving: you stand on the marks on the mat and the sensor above the screens does the rest, so there are no controllers to hand out and nothing to collect back at the end of the night. Dodge - a reaction wall game, the same family as our strike-a-light and Batak kit - has you jumping and ducking out of the way of lights coming at you from the screens, and the sensor reads every duck, jump and sidestep.

It's one of the newer games on the unit, and it stacks the difficulty as it goes: the more levels a group plays, the quicker and more challenging they become. The maker's own write-up says the first levels already get people moving and breathing fast, which tells you what the later ones do. It works solo against the wall or with friends alongside, and rounds are short enough that nobody waits long for a go.

Because it's all reaction and no rules to learn, it's the sort of game that suits a busy event: school reward days, exhibitions and trade stands where the footfall needs entertaining, and parties where the energy needs somewhere to go. The ski, football and parkour games run on the same wall if the group wants a change.

All of it runs on our iWall, one of only a handful in the country. It stands freestanding with a floor mat in front, so it needs a clear run of floor and a socket within reach; give us the room size and expected numbers and we'll confirm the running space, power and staffing on the quote.
