Shooting games hire Guildford

Guildford is about 43 miles north of the Havant workshop, A3 most of the way, and the shooting range comes up with the rest of the kit for school fairs, university events and the weddings at the country-house venues across the Surrey Hills. Anything in the Hills involving sloping or restricted-access sites gets flagged at the quote stage - the laser clays range in particular wants 30m of level ground, and it is easier to confirm that before the booking than to discover it on the morning.

The laser quest arena is the ten-player centrepiece that fills a Guildford sports hall (35ft by 35ft with 8ft of headroom) or a 40ft by 40ft outdoor pitch, with our own operator running every game. The laser clays range is the outdoor alternative: five shooters, replica shotguns, an auto launcher and a scoreboard that plays the breaking-clay sound, running a 30m by 10m stretch without mains power.

Archery is the taught session - recurve bows, RPII-examined instructors, a 40ft by 60ft range with clear ground behind the targets - and it suits the school and scout bookings well. The crossbow challenge stall takes four at a time and slots into tighter fete layouts, and the Laser Shot booth brings a projected shooting gallery indoors for corporate days and exhibitions in a 3m by 4.5m footprint.

The kit is ours, stored at our Havant workshop and delivered by our own crews - first-aid trained, enhanced-DBS registered, RPII-examined where the kit demands it. The £10 million public liability certificate and the risk assessments go out with the Guildford quote, which is what the school offices and corporate compliance teams along the A3 corridor ask for before confirming.

The shooting range usually shares the day with the rest of the spread - the school and university work we cover on the Guildford event hire page pairs it with the inflatables and the electronic games, and a wedding in the Hills might run the clays outside while the photo booth works the marquee.

Send the date, the venue and the rough numbers, and we'll come back with a package that fits the site - and an honest answer about whether the space suits the range you had in mind.

Shooting games hire in Guildford - common questions

Will the laser clays range fit a Surrey Hills garden?

It needs a 30m by 10m run of reasonably level ground, and some of the terraced gardens up in the Hills will not have that. Send the measurement when you enquire - we will confirm honestly whether the range fits or whether the arena, archery or the crossbow stall is the better match for the space.

Do you cover school fairs across Guildford and the surrounding villages?

Yes, across GU1 to GU5 and out through the villages. The taught archery sessions and the crossbow stall are the usual school fair picks because they marshal cleanly in a fairground layout, and both run with our own DBS-checked instructors. Risk assessments go out to the school office before the date.

Can we book the shooting games for a corporate day at one of the business parks?

Yes - the Laser Shot booth works indoors on a 3m by 4.5m footprint, and the clays range or the arena can run outside where the site allows. Tell us the site, the numbers and the timings, and we will quote the combination that keeps everyone through the session.
