Shooting games hire Gosport

Gosport is about twelve miles from the Havant workshop, M27 then A32, and the shooting range crosses with the rest of the kit for the summer season. An officers' summer ball at HMS Sultan in July 2026 ran the laser clays alongside the rodeo bull and the western carnival games, and the Gosport Summer Passport Scheme had the tag archery out across its 2025 programme, with the scheme booking us again through summer 2026. We're across PO12 and PO13 most summer weekends, from school fêtes to the naval-community family days.

The laser clays range is the one most Gosport bookings start with. Five shooters at a time with replica shotguns, an automatic launcher and a scoreboard that plays the breaking-clay sound on every hit, over a 30m by 10m run. It runs without mains power, which suits the seafront pitches and park sites around PO12 and PO13 where a socket is never where you want it.

The laser quest arena is the ten-player alternative: 35ft by 35ft with 8ft of headroom in a hall, or 40ft by 40ft outdoors with 25ft of clearance, and our operator runs every game and changeover. Tag archery is the one the Passport Scheme took - foam-tipped arrows and inflatable bunkers, a tag game that suits mixed ages and big groups rotating through. Archery is the taught session with RPII-examined instructors, and the Laser Shot booth covers indoor corporate work at the Daedalus site in a 3m by 4.5m corner.

Everything is our own kit from Havant with our own crews - first-aid trained, enhanced-DBS registered, RPII-examined where the kit demands it. The bigger public pitches like Stokes Bay and Walpole Park tend to want the paperwork up front: the £10 million public liability certificate, risk assessments and PIPA documentation go out with the Gosport quote before you commit.

The shooting range usually sits inside a bigger Gosport spread. The HMS Sultan ball ran it with the rodeo and the carnival games, and the Passport Scheme days paired the tag archery with the assault course, zorbing and the sweeper. The Gosport event hire page rounds up the rest of the range.

Send the date, the venue and the rough numbers, and we'll come back with the mix that fits - and the paperwork the venue will want to see.

Shooting games hire in Gosport - common questions

Which shooting games have run at Gosport events already?

The laser clays range ran an officers' summer ball at HMS Sultan in July 2026, and the tag archery went out across the Gosport Summer Passport Scheme programme in 2025, with the scheme booking us again through 2026. Both are staffed by our own operators throughout.

Does the laser clays range work on the seafront pitches?

Yes - it needs a 30m by 10m run of level ground and no mains power, so the Stokes Bay and seafront sites work. It is run by our own operator throughout, and the difficulty adjusts so children and adults score on the same board. Tell us the pitch when you enquire and we will confirm the layout fits.

Can you cover a Scout camp or youth weekend in Gosport?

Yes - a Gosport Scouts weekend camp in July 2026 took the pedal go-karts and the assault course, and tag archery or the laser tag arena slot into the same format well. The instructors brief every session, and the DBS checks and risk assessments go out to the group leader before the camp.
