Pit Stop Challenge Hire

The Pit Stop Challenge - sometimes called a tyre change game, a pitstop game, or a wheel change challenge - is a 2-player outdoor game where both players race head-to-head to swap a tyre as fast as they can. Each player gets a set of real tyres and a cordless impact wrench, and the winner is whoever completes their change first.

The game comes as a large printed backdrop depicting a racing car in a pit lane, with checkered flag graphics and spectator crowd artwork behind the car. The real tyres and wheel guns sit in front of it on the ground, one set per player side. Rounds are short, the format is immediately obvious to anyone watching, and it works as a spectator draw as well as an activity.

It suits corporate fun days and team-building events well, and goes just as well at garden parties, school fêtes, and outdoor public events. The competitive format works with adults and older children.

We deliver and set up from our commercial unit in Havant, and we've run Monster Event Hire since 2002. All the kit is ours - no sub-contracting - and the electrical equipment is PAT-tested annually. Our staff are RPII-trained, hold enhanced DBS checks and are first-aid certified. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with a certificate available on request. We also carry licensed-premises cover, which most hire companies don't hold, so there's no issue with pubs, clubs or bars.
