Penalty Shootout Hire

The penalty shootout - sometimes listed as a penalty shoot-out or inflatable football goal hire - is an inflatable goal arch, 14ft wide and 12ft high, with circular target holes in the back panel and cartoon footballers printed on each upright. Players take turns kicking at the targets; a goalkeeper can stand in front of the panel and try to keep the ball out, which tends to be more entertaining for the watching crowd than any save they actually make.

You decide the format - three kicks each, a knockout, a time limit, whatever works for the group. Most of the time there's no shortage of volunteers willing to go in goal. Children and adults take part equally well, and you don't need to be any good at football for it to work.

We supply a member of staff to run the game throughout - handle the queue, referee the shots and organise any competition format you want. All our staff are RPII-trained, first-aid certified and hold enhanced DBS checks, which matters for school bookings and youth events.

We've run Monster Event Hire from our commercial unit in Havant since 2002, and every piece of kit is ours - no sub-contracting, no agency staff. The inflatables carry PIPA tags and are inspected annually by our own RPII inspector. Electrical equipment is PAT-tested each year. We carry £10 million public liability insurance, with the certificate on request, plus additional licensed-premises cover if your venue is a pub, club or bar.
