iWall Hyper Slam

Our iWall is a two-screen interactive gaming wall from CSE Entertainment in Finland, and every game on it is played by moving: you stand on the marks on the mat and the sensor above the screens does the rest, so there are no controllers to hand out and nothing to collect back at the end of the night. Hyper Slam is the racket game on it - an interactive tennis wall game, as the maker's own line has it, "like tennis, but far more interesting". Two players can play each other across the mat, or one player can take on the built-in computer opponent, and the points come down to reaction speed, timing and a bit of thinking about where the next shot's going.

For anyone hiring the wall with a tennis game in mind, this is the one that covers it. There's no racket to hold and no net to string; the sensor reads your movement and the rally on screen answers, which is the unit's whole trick. It trains coordination and reaction speed while it's at it, per the maker's write-up, and the fast pace works the upper body and core without anyone noticing.

It suits school sports days, tennis and racket-sport clubs, birthday parties and corporate evenings, and it pairs well with the dance and ski games on the same unit when the group wants variety. The football goalkeeper game covers the other ball-sport crowd.

The unit behind it is our iWall, one of only a handful in the country.
