Inflatable Basketball Shootout

The inflatable basketball shootout - sometimes called a basketball hoop game or a bouncy basketball stall - is one large inflatable wall with three hoops set into the face at different heights. Players throw soft balls from a line in front of it, and the balls that go through a hoop drop into the base, where the low padded bumper along the front keeps them from rolling back out.

The wall is striped green and blue with mesh panels down the sides, and it runs off a blower like the rest of our inflatables. It is one of our own builds from the years we manufactured inflatables in the workshop, so it was made here rather than bought in from a catalogue. There is nothing electronic to go wrong and nothing to brief anyone on. It is a have-a-go game in the same spirit as the high striker, and it gives a fairground or fete row one of those stalls people drift towards between the bigger attractions.

How it plays

The three hoops sit at staggered heights, so you can score the game however suits your day: total hoops in a set of throws, two players going head to head, or a plain queue and have-a-go. Because the balls collect in the base of the unit nobody is chasing them round the field, and a turn only takes a few throws, so the queue keeps moving at a busy fete.

It suits school fairs, fetes, community days, corporate family days and fun days, and it stands on grass or hard standing.
