Garden Games Hire in Totton

Totton sits on the edge of the New Forest, and that shapes what garden games can do here. Gardens are often generous, but the ground underfoot can be gravelly, sloped or root-lifted, and the simple rule to plan around is that putting holes and lawn games all want a level patch.

What a Forest-edge lawn changes

Stones round a drive, a lawn tipping towards a ditch and roots lifting under old trees each decide where a game can stand. A couple of photographs of the garden or fête field settle most of it before we promise where anything goes.

The package and the two courses

The garden game package brings giant Connect 4, giant snakes and ladders and a giant Jenga tower, asking nothing of the site beyond a flat patch, with collection when the field empties. For putting, the original crazy golf uses nine flat mats about 8ft by 2ft each, with white borders, a windmill, putters and balls, and it plays on a flat indoor floor too. Crazy Golf 2 is the JB Inflatables set with raised turf holes and painted hazards, the smarter look on a kept lawn but wanting the same level surface as everything else.

Team games for village shows

A fête field or a family party garden around Totton usually takes something organised as well as the casual games. Laser clay pigeon shooting lays out a 30m by 10m shooting run on level grass, five players at a time behind infrared replica shotguns, staffed throughout with the digital scoreboard calling the hits, and the basic setup needs no mains supply. Laser tag is the younger crowd's version, up to ten at once in an inflatable arena under one of our operators, drawing on two 13amp sockets and an outdoor area of roughly 40ft by 40ft.

Our side of the arrangement is the usual Havant setup: trading since 2002, the fleet owned outright, staff who pass the RPII operator and supervisor exams alongside first-aid and enhanced DBS checks, and £10 million public liability insurance with risk assessments and method statements for your venue.

Alongside this page, the full garden games range sits with the Totton event hire hub, plus Totton bouncy castle hire and Totton Christmas entertainment. Up the road, Eastleigh garden games hire is the nearest of these pages. Send your date, venue, surface and access details, with timings and expected numbers, and we'll quote the day.

It was lovely to see all the crazy golf set up and waiting for us when we arrived at the reception. It was enjoyed by many of our guests, young (18 months) and old (92 years)!
