Garden Games Hire in Portsmouth
Our garden games hire in Portsmouth and Southsea includes giant lawn games, portable mini golf and staffed target games. For a wedding reception or birthday party, the three-game package gives guests something they can join whenever they're ready. For a school fair or corporate fun day, we can bring that alongside activities run by our own team, with delivery from our Havant unit.
Games for a lawn, patio or hall
The garden game package is giant Connect 4, giant snakes and ladders and giant Jenga hired together. None needs a socket, and we set out the games, explain them at handover and collect them afterwards. They work on a flat patio or hall floor as well as grass, so tell us which space you've got available.
With the original nine-hole crazy golf, guests putt along green mats with white borders and obstacles including a windmill. The putters and balls are included. Each mat measures about 8ft by 2ft, but players need space around the mats too; send us the usable area, with doors and walkways marked, before deciding where the course will go.
The separate Crazy Golf 2 course is made by JB Inflatables and has raised turf holes with shaped runs and painted hazards. Compare the two sets before booking, particularly if you're choosing golf to suit the appearance of a reception lawn.
The original golf pairs up with taught games well: we had crazy golf and archery out together at Fort Purbrook on Portsdown Hill in August 2025, one site for the drop-in putting and the instructor-led shooting.
Planning an indoor alternative
We've worked to a wet-weather plan for a Portsmouth school event with inflatable axe throwing, the interactive play system and an assault course. For your own event, agree the backup space with the venue while choosing the games. The original golf and giant games can go indoors; table tennis needs a flat indoor or covered playing area, including room behind both players.
If you'd like a staffed target game, inflatable axe throwing uses Velcro axes and needs a 13amp supply. Our electrics are PAT-tested, and our inflatable equipment is PIPA-tagged and inspected annually. The Portsmouth shooting games page explains the larger ranges and arena options.
We've owned and hired out our kit from Havant since 2002. Our team is RPII-examined, first-aid trained and enhanced-DBS registered, and your venue can request the £10 million public liability certificate, risk assessments and method statements.
For other parts of the day, see Portsmouth photo booth hire and the Portsmouth event hire hub. The full garden games collection covers the range, with a separate Petersfield garden games page if your venue search takes you inland. Enquire with the date and venue, your preferred games, guest numbers, surface, access and setup and collection times so we can price the booking.
It was lovely to see all the crazy golf set up and waiting for us when we arrived at the reception. It was enjoyed by many of our guests, young (18 months) and old (92 years)!
